Brewery TalkTours of our BreweryLengthening Evenings, Warmer Days and Our Draught Beer infiltrating Dingle Town and Peninsula.

April 14, 2015by admin4

Slowly we are moving into the realms of a more readily accessible , brewery, our draught kegs now being installed  throughout the Town of Dingle and the Peninsula. Ever conscious of the help and assistance we receive from people within the industry I would make mention of Peter Mosley, Brewer with the Porter House, who has given invaluable advice for many years and most recently a large number of kegs on loan so we might get the beer to town!

Our idea is to offer a choice of rotational beers through our 3 core range to the specials we are so fond of experimenting with. Offering a lower abv % with the likes of Carraig Dubh, Cúl Dorcha and  Béal Bán and toying with higher abv % in our specials drawing inspiration from the wildness of our surrounding views and the garden we are so fortunate to be located in. It is with great pleasure that we finally reach this stage of our development, ever  slower than most of our compatriots, we seem to unfold tentatively relishing in the journey itself confident in the knowledge that we were the first brewery in Kerry since the 1800’s, we are 100% authentic and brew and package our own beer, we are the most Westerly Brewery in Europe easily found on the Slea Head Drive part of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Speaking of which we have joined forces with some of the other Breweries along the WAW and Libby of Kinnegar Brewery, being a graphic designer, has put her skills to good use by designing a very informative brochure with all the Breweries to visit along the way. This gives the visitor an added incentive to travel the length of this the longest coastal drive in Europe.

Hi Linda, much apologies for my slack response, I have been quite caught up. I was delighted to hear your request for a personal beer for your pub in Killarney but truthfully we are caught up in the need to keep up with demand for our growing range of beers. But I would suggest you keep in touch as our demand falls slightly out of season we may then be able to facilitate you, I would also suggest you call to our brewery by prior arrangement to see how small we truly are, then you might be in a position to understand our realistic capabilities.
Kind Regards and please email when it would suit you to visit us, we would be able to facilitate a group of your customers if you thought this of any interest.
