Local Area

ABOUT OUR LOCAL AREA

Nestled in the heart of An Riasc on the breathtaking Dingle peninsula along the Wild Atlantic Way, our location offers the perfect base to explore West Kerry’s stunning landscape, coastal trails and rich cultural heritage.

An Riasc is probably best known for its monastic site, which is a ten-minute walk from us here in Tig Bhric. Excavated by archaeologists in the 1970s, it contains the remains of a church, some round houses, a possible burial shrine and several cross-inscribed stones. It’s believed the site was occupied as early as the 6th century, and artefacts found in the excavation can be seen in Músaem Chorcha Dhuibhne, in Ballyferriter.

Really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful area for a very peaceful break. Got to spend some time getting hands on in the brewery which was brilliant and the accommodation was really nice. The pub and beers are excellent. Well worth a visit.

Imagine a cozy, warm wooden rustic pub with great craft beer. Well, that’s the place for you. A great place to chill out after/before hiking in the area. The beer is great!!

Quirky little place, with cosy interior, cute garden, cool pieces of art & AMAZING beer. Tried 6 different real ales – ALL top notch, including a golden ale with corriander seeds, a very drinkable mild, and an incredible porter aged in whisky barrels. Wow. How i wish this was my local
